Earlier this month, our bereavement team held its first Family Day at Whispering Hope Ranch Ministries in Rose City, MI.
Nearly 38 children, parents, and grandparents came together in a welcoming space where families could connect, share, and support one another through grief and healing.
Throughout the day, there were moments of both reflection and joy. Children laughed and played in the bounce house; families spent time with the horses, chose horse tattoos, and shared simple moments that brought comfort and smiles.
During the grief and healing service, families shared stories, spoke the names of loved ones they miss, and honored cherished memories together. It was a meaningful reminder that grief is not something anyone has to carry alone.
Guests also enjoyed hot dogs, riding lessons, and time together as a community—laughing, smiling, and supporting one another every step of the way.
Family Day was incredibly meaningful to all of us, and we hope to continue making it an annual tradition for the families and communities we serve. We are deeply grateful to Whispering Hope Ranch for providing such a safe and compassionate place for families to gather, heal, and simply be together.
