March marked 11 years as a licensed massage therapist for me.

I am so grateful for the opportunities this work has provided me. It has both challenged me and guided me through many challenges. It has become part of my foundation, something that can ground me and encourage me.

It has taken 11 years for me to realize, accept, and take pride in the fact that this work is my art. It is my dance, my pottery, my song. It is my creative outlet.

I’m looking forward to the years ahead nurturing my art form. I’m looking forward to seeing all the magic I’ve been dreaming up become reality ✨

I've been sitting here embracing a moment, holding on to this whole full feeling of succeeding. It's warm and inviting and has me deep in my feels.
When I started planning for amethyst & sage my biggest desire was to cultivate a space where people could feel a source of security, a source of comfort and warmth. My hope for myself as a therapist was, and is, to cultivate real human connection through bodywork. I hope through my work and in my space, I offer people a place to bring their suffering and maybe for an hour hover outside of that feeling. Proving safe touch that says it's okay to put it down right now, a safe touch that says I understand.
Each time someone expresses gratitude for offering such a space provides me that same sense of safety. It wraps me up in a full embrace repeating in my ear "you're okay and you're doing exactly what you're meant to be doing." If you've ever experienced imposter syndrome, then you know how difficult it can be to feel that way.

I am deeply grateful to you all.
