This is a Pediatric only position.
Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. Duties
Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including intake interviews, diagnostic evaluations, and mental health screenings utilizing medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation standards.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
Implement specialized interventions for children and adolescents with conditions such as PTSD, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental disabilities.
Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or behavioral crises.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (OTs, PTs, and SLPs) to coordinate case management efforts, develop treatment plans, and ensure continuity of patient care across schools, community clinics, or home environments.
Utilize electronic medical records (EMR systems) for accurate medical documentation, patient data collection, and research purposes while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Experience
Proven experience working with children and families in clinical settings involving child & family counseling, special education support, or home & community care environments.
Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and psychopharmacology coordination when applicable.
Strong background in working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism spectrum disorder or other neurodiverse conditions.
Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding systems; working knowledge of ICD-10/ICD-9 is advantageous.
Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent communication skills for collaboration with healthcare providers and families.
