Last week, Daniel Headrick, our Industrial Specialist, was invited to teach Work Conditioning at the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association Conference. The conference hosted Safety and Work Comp Managers from utility companies across Middle, West, and East Tennessee. Dan explained the benefits of Work Conditioning, how it can protect against injuries through proper preparation, and the evidence showing that Work Conditioning lessens disability and improves work ability.

In August, we added some fun with a "Guess How Many" game featuring a barrel of cheese balls. πŸ§€

Renee Robinson came out on top with a guess of 960 (the actual count was 976!). Renee won a STAR gift basket that included a cooler, t-shirt, ice pack, and handheld massager. 🎁

We are proud to support Bright Futures Arkansas! In June, we held a Pie-in-the-Face Fundraiser, raising $133 to support Bright Futures in achieving its mission. A big thank you to everyone who participated and donated! πŸ₯§

Did you know that 1 in 7 children in the United States lives in poverty? That is nearly 7 million children struggling to meet their basic needs. Bright Futures addresses this challenge through local community partnerships.

Bright Futures is a nonprofit organization that brings together faith-based organizations, human services agencies, and businesses in partnership with families and schools to quickly meet basic needs and create new opportunities for our children and youth to succeed in school and beyond.
