Yankee Fitness Company is a school of ELITE FITNESS located in Farmington, CT. Yes, Yankee CrossFit is a school, not just a gym to get a workout. What’s the single most important factor when structuring an exercise program for someone?

Eating “Healthy” But Can’t Lose Weight ?

This can be super frustrating. You think you are eating foods that supposed to healthy for you. Nuts, Oils, and Avocados are supposed to help you lose weight right ?

Well they are technically healthy ….but they are also extremely dense in calories. These foods are composed of mostly fat. And fat has a whopping 9 calories per gram! (carbs and protein are 4 cals per gram).

So if you are trying to lose weight , make sure you aren’t over eating foods that super dense in fat !

After several car accidents , and left with chronic neck pain and headaches, she came to Yankee to see if we could help.
