Choosing the right kind of pacifier is important, especially for breastfeeding babies. If you choose to use a pacifier, it's best to wait until breastfeeding is well-established to help lower the chance of breastfeeding problems.

Pacifiers are helpful to comfort or soothe your baby, decrease their risk of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), and help some babies in need of suck or tongue training. Hi, it’s Melody the Dietitian! Chocolate milk seems to be one of those controversial foods I get asked about a lot. Is it healthy or not healthy? Should I let my kids drink it?

If you ask me, I would say yes, definitely! Especially when it comes to drinking chocolate milk after playing sports or running around outside. Several studies have shown that chocolate milk is actually one of the best options out there for post-exercise recovery.

Today’s routine pediatric vaccines are thimerosal-free, thoroughly tested, and monitored for safety. There is no link between mercury in vaccines and autism despite unscientific claims.
