We had a wonderful time visiting San Juan College for Diné artist Anthony Chee Emerson's show at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. 🎨🖌️ Emerson began his career as a professional artist in 1982, when he participated in the Santa Fe Indian Market, and has continued exhibiting his art since. He has received numerous awards and residencies for his artwork. In 2024, Emerson started Ma'ii Productions, an animation company with a focus on revitalizing the Diné bizaad.

What an incredible weekend! ✨ Our administrative team had the honor of attending the Best of Farmington Banquet, and we are so proud that The Bridge Assisted Living was nominated for Best Business of the Year 2025! 👏

Even though we didn’t win, we are truly grateful to have been included among so many amazing local businesses. The evening was filled with delicious food, beautiful outfits, and yes... plenty of dancing! 💃🕺 Thank you to everyone who supports The Bridge at Farmington. Being recognized alongside such incredible organizations is a reminder of how special our community really is. 💛

❄️ First Snow at The Bridge at Farmington ❄️

Last week, our campus was covered in its first snowfall of the season, and it was absolutely beautiful. The Bridge at Farmington is stunning in the summer, but it truly sparkles during the winter months as well. We spent the day cozy inside with warm coffee and cocoa, taking in the calm and peaceful winter views.

One of the best parts of living in Farmington is enjoying all four seasons. 🌸 Spring brings blooming trees and colorful gardens. ☀️ Summer is warm and comfortable, rarely reaching above 100 degrees. 🍂 Fall fills the town with rich shades of red, yellow, and orange. ❄️ Winter brings just enough snow for a cheerful snowman before it gently melts away.

🌟 Resident Spotlight: Janet Powell 🌟

We would love to take a moment to recognize and celebrate one of our incredible residents here at The Bridge Assisted Living, Janet Powell. Over the past year, Janet has been an amazing support to our Activities Department and truly goes above and beyond in everything she does.

From calling Bingo and Pokeno to helping with set-ups, assisting on outings, and always lending a hand wherever it’s needed, Janet’s dedication never goes unnoticed. She has also been a tremendous blessing to our resident Louise Estep, serving as her eyes and ears during activities so she can fully participate and enjoy every moment.

Louise shared, “She has been a tremendous help, and I truly appreciate her.”

Janet’s kindness, patience, and caring heart have made a meaningful difference in our community. As the Lifestyles Director, I am beyond thankful for her support. She has been a true blessing and an outstanding volunteer resident.

Thank you, Janet, for all that you do. We appreciate you more than words can say! ❤️
