Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America Social Media Terms of Use by Non-Employees

Your use of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (“PMMA”) social media channels by non-employees is subject to these terms of use and the terms of use of the social media platform from which you accessed these Terms of Use. The PMMA, Aberdeen Village, Arkansas City Presbyterian Manor, Clay Center Presbyterian Manor, Em

poria Presbyterian Manor, Farmington Presbyterian Manor, Fort Scott Presbyterian Village, Fulton Presbyterian Manor, Heart & Soul Hospice-Farmington, Heart & Soul Hospice-Wichita, Lawrence Presbyterian Manor, Manor of the Plains, Newton Presbyterian Manor, Parsons Presbyterian Manor, Rolla Presbyterian Manor, Salina Presbyterian Manor, Sterling Presbyterian Manor, Topeka Presbyterian Manor and Wichita Presbyterian Manor pages (collectively social media channels) are social media locations for online community members to connect to and learn about PMMA through information, pictures, and video concerning initiatives, programs and campus life. Our goal is to provide useful and interesting content about our company and foster an open and respectful dialogue relating to the specific issues and topics covered in our posts and other multi-media. PMMA reserves all rights relating to the company’s non-employee social media channels, including but not limited to (i) adding, removing or modifying any content; (ii) blocking disruptive users; and (iii) discontinuing any of our social media channels at any time. Discussion of medical and health topics should never be construed as medical advice. You are advised to contact a health care professional in your area if you need medical advice. For the privacy of users and their families, please be advised that all postings to PMMA’s sponsored sites will be publicly available on the Internet and therefore publicly accessible without limitation or protection of any kind. With the understanding that this information may be linked to your name and published on the Internet, please consider how much personal information to share. PMMA may, in its sole discretion, delete irresponsible content or content that is otherwise inconsistent with the organization’s mission or the purpose of the PMMA social media channels; namely, dissemination and sharing of on-topic, appropriate content. To the extent applicable, PMMA reserves the right to block any user that fails to follow these Terms of Use. Examples of inappropriate or off-topic messages include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Defamatory, malicious, obscene, intimidating, discriminatory, harassing or threatening comments or hate propaganda;
• Calls to violence of any kind;
• Activity that violates any local, state or federal law or regulation;
• Attempts to target PMMA or PMMA Followers to offer or sell goods or services, of either a commercial or private nature;
• Spam directed at PMMA or any of PMMA’s Followers, including any form of automatically generated content or repeatedly posting the same content;
• Content that includes medical advice that may be unsolicited and/or unverified;
• Any potential infringement upon any intellectual property rights, including but not limited to, brand names, trade names, logos, copyrights or trade secrets of any person, business or place;
• Content posted by fake or anonymous users; and
• Other content deemed to be off-topic or to disrupt the purposes of the channel, its Followers, and its sense of community and acceptance. Our social media channels are not the appropriate place to resolve issues, complaints or suggestions of non-employees about individual service experiences or our campuses. This does not mean we do not want to hear about such issues, but these concerns are best handled by the leadership on each campus. If you’re interested in sharing comments or feedback outside the scope of these channels, you can send a message through the “Contact Us” tab at PresbyterianManors.org or any campus website. Comments may be forwarded to other PMMA departments and personnel to ensure appropriate follow-up. Please keep in mind that PMMA does not create, control, represent, or endorse any opinions or statements expressed by others within its social media channels, including those that Follow/Like PMMA and those Followed/Liked by PMMA and that any content posted by anyone other than PMMA is the responsibility of the submitter and not PMMA. Links which take you out of our social media channels, websites and digital assets are not under the control of PMMA, and PMMA is not responsible for the terms and conditions, privacy policy or content of any such site or any further links from such site. PMMA is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement of the linked site by PMMA. Also, please keep in mind that if PMMA follows another user’s account, “likes” another page, “favorites,” shares or otherwise re-posts another user’s content, such an action does not constitute endorsement. You should understand that content you submit to our social media channels is public and will not place PMMA under any obligation to you. This means PMMA is free to disclose and use the ideas contained in content on a non-confidential basis to anyone without any liability to you. You should also not use PMMA’s social media channels to submit unsolicited ideas. Generally we don’t accept these, and if you submit any – for example by posting them – you need to understand that you don’t have ownership rights in such ideas, that PMMA and its senior living communities will not compensate or reward you, and that we do not waive any rights to use similar or related ideas previously known to us, developed by our employees, or obtained from other sources. You agree that by posting content on our social media channels, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit and display and distribute such content in any and all media or distribution methods now known or later developed. Further, by submitting content you represent and warrant to PMMA that you are the sole owner of the content and that PMMA’s use of the content will not violate the rights of any third party, including, but not limited to copyright rights; and that you will defend and hold PMMA harmless from any and all claims arising therefrom. By submitting content you waive any right to inspect or approve of such uses and agree to hold harmless PMMA and all others identified above from any and all claims you, your heirs, executors or assigns may at any time have against PMMA on account of the granting of the license or arising out of PMMA’s use of the content. All Terms and Conditions of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, and Google+ apply, respectively.

💙 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐬 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧
At Farmington Presbyterian Manor, we never stop listening. Every month, residents and families share their experiences through surveys with Activated Insights (formerly known as Pinnacle Quality Insight).

Between June 2024 and June 2025, we received top scores for:
✅ Transportation needs in Independent Living
✅ Dignity and respect in Assisted Living
✅ Safety and Security in Health Care

One family member told us they would tell others that “it seems like a safe place. I would try to go myself. That is a good recommendation.”

We’re proud of our team—and even prouder to serve you.

The photos may look silly... but the skills are serious!
We recently dove into Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care® or PAC™ — a hands-on training that taught us how to better support those living with dementia.

From how we approach a conversation to how we offer a helping hand, every step matters.

Shoutout to our incredible team for always learning and leading with love 🙌💛
