Do you know about "chronic fatigue syndrome"? This term has baffled the biomedical field for decades but has gained new momentum due to Long-COVID. It has often been misunderstood and trivialized because the constellation of symptoms can resemble those of psychological disorders. However, even though it may have psychological components, this does not mean it resolves on its own or originates entirely in the mind. That is why this disease is now widely recognized as a neuroinflammatory condition, deserving urgent medical attention. I will provide more information on the disease as I study it further. Please stay tuned, as I will post each symptom in detail.

Did you know that the brilliant composer Schubert was a lifelong admirer of the legendary Beethoven? In his final moments, Schubert expressed his wish to be closer to his idol. This heartfelt desire led his brother to arrange for Schubert's grave to be just a few feet away from Beethoven's! I will tell you more in my lecture recital about this poignant story!

This is my very first post for this idea and I will keep striving to get you acquainted with me, a biomedical researcher, an amateur pianist and most importantly a kindred spirit of Schubert and a young man who wants very much be like Schubert to raise awareness of ME/CFS and compassionate with those who suffered.
