These are the men and women defending and protecting the frontlines of our community every day. They don’t ask for a thank you. They’re humble. They show up to defend families and protect the community whether they know you or you’re a complete stranger. When the call comes in, they respond.

From someone who served in the military, I can tell you this — people who do this work answer the call. Not because they have to. Not because they get paid to. In fact, many of them make little to no money at all for answering that call. They do it because it’s a calling. Because they feel it’s something they’re meant to do.

Listen to their stories. Hear what they face.

And remember to say thank you — even though they don’t expect it. Let them know you appreciate what they do for you and this community. Your gratitude lets them know you care. The struggles and demons they battle from what they see are real.

To all our first responders — no matter the city, county, state, or role — thank you for what you do.

New Mexico is currently pushing legislation that would restrict FFL dealers from selling certain commonly owned fi****ms — along with adding major operational restrictions on licensed dealers.

Here’s the part people need to understand:

They don’t always have to ban the fi****ms themselves.
All they have to do is restrict or eliminate the dealers.

If licensed dealers can’t sell them…
If access is cut off…
If the supply chain is strangled…

You effectively create a ban without ever knocking on doors or going after current owners.

No matter who’s in office, our rights require vigilance. When access is targeted, freedom is targeted.

Stay informed.
