Catching up on some previous activities from this last week! We enjoyed two staff appreciation lunches last week after receiving a very heartfelt letter from a family letter in regards to the care our staff provide. As well as having the highest average in house census for a February in many years! Both of these are a strong testament to the dedication and passion shown by our staff and demonstrates why Farmington Village is the premier skilled nursing facility in our area! THANK YOU to our amazing employees and the job they do!! We appreciate you!!
Also congratulations to Tommy Bristol on being named employee of the month!!

We are proud to announce another recent investment our ownership has made in our facility! A brand new bladder scanner! This is a significant investment and an amazing tool that not many skilled nursing homes have! We are proud to be counted amongst the ones that do!! After many faithful years of service we retire our old scanner and introduce a new and improved one for our residents care!

Friends and family please share and consider donating to this wonderful organization. This is where we take our resident’s fishing for activities! This is a great place with many volunteers who always put on a spectacular fishing program not only for our residents but other organizations as well. They recently were the victims of a massive theft which resulted in a lot of their fishing gear being taken. Please share and consider donating!

Unfortunately, Hooked On Fishing Park recently experienced a theft of fishing gear. This fund is to be used specifically for the replacement of that gear as well as to update older gear that isn't working the best. Thank you so much for getting involved in helping us introduce people from all walks....

THIS IS HOW YOU FRIDAY!! Today we had special guests, food and music! Our day started off with a visit from the Farmington central high school honor society who helped us with a Valentine’s Day craft and a special game of Bingo! Then we sat down for a nice PRIME RIB lunch! Featuring prime rib, stuffed pork tenderloins, twice baked mashed potatoes or a baked potato with green beans and bacon, fresh rolls, chocolate dipped strawberries with cherry cheesecake and a little table side wine bottle service! Then we ended the day with a special musical performance by Carl Bopp!
We also took a few Valentine’s Day glamour shots!

Thank you to Hy-Vee floral department for the flower center pieces and roses for our residents!

We have been enjoying Super Bowl Sunday!! The resident council voted to have Casey’s pizza for our evening meal before the game!! We also are enjoying some snacks and dips as we watch the big game!

Today we had our Super Bowl party for our staff! We enjoyed a fajita bar as well as some Sarah Beth dips!! Today’s fajita bar included pork carnitas, beef, and cilantro chicken with rice, fajita vegtables, queso dip all the fixings and cupcakes! The dips we had today included the lemon cheesecake, heavenly heath, bacon horseradish, and Mexican party dip!

Today we had to re-stock our supply of dip mixes from Sarah Beth’s dips!! If you haven’t checked them out before we highly recommend you do!! They are a favorite of our residents during happy hour!
