Thrive Counseling and Wellness is happy to announce an upcoming mini workshop aimed at teaching self-compassion skills, and how to apply them using meditation and mindfulness.
Self-compassion is often confused with “selfishness”; instead it’s a way to build kindness towards ourselves which is proven to help build wellness, happiness, self-confidence, life satisfaction, and physical health. 💗
In this mini workshop you will get an intro into self-compassion, learn some basic meditation skills, and then a guided meditation will take place (lead by Lauren Showalter, LPC) focusing on integrating self-compassion through mindfulness.
