Good morning,

Today I will send home our A-Z countdown calendar. Our calendar will start on May 5th and end on the last day of school on June 10th. Most of the activities we do in class will not require any supplies. However, some days will. If you are willing to purchase something to help us, I will send home a slip that you can return to me as soon as possible. We do not have a date for our end-of-the-year party, but I will let you all know as soon as I'm given that date.

Good morning,

I will begin the process of checking all student iPads (cleaning and assessing damages/lost accessories) if necessary), so send in a charged iPad and chargers. All students will be day users meaning iPads/cases/chargers will remain at school each day starting 4/25! Thank you for your support with this!

Class group pictures will be on May 4th! The cost is $10.00. Order forms will be sent home today.
We will NOT have homework or spelling words this week. Both will resume next week.
We will take our math district assessment on Thursday, 4/21, and Friday, 4/22! Please make sure your child is present and well-rested!
Field Day is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, May 10th, Parents you are welcome to attend!
Finally, all transportation requests should be handwritten notes, so that I can turn them into Mrs. Robbins for approval!

Today I told the students I was hiding a secret, and they had to figure it out. They solved some math problems to crack the code, and the secret was… Mrs. Ratte is having a baby! They guessed the gender and made a graph chart, and told me boy names and girls names for my baby. We had cupcakes to celebrate and snacks from you all. We had a great day

Yesterday our class was able to take a virtual field trip to the STAR Center at the NC Aquarium on Roanoke Island. We zoomed with one of the workers at the rehabilitation center and learned all about sea turtles! They were able to ask some great questions.🐢

Good afternoon,

Just a reminder In lieu of an Easter egg hunt, you may send in a treat (individually wrapped chips, cookies, and/or candy) for students tomorrow Wednesday, 4/13, if you would like (not required). There are 18 students in our classroom.

2. Tomorrow Wednesday, 4/13, is an early release day. Students will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. Please send a note in advance if transportation will be different that day.

04/11/2022

Our class is working on counting money. We are working on coins first and then dollar bills. When you have time, try to work with your children to identify the different types of coins and add random amounts of change. We have friends who are getting mixed up, so extra practice at home could help.
