Six more weeks of winter?!
Punxsutawney Phil says yes… and our patients definitely have opinions 🐾❄️

Some love a good snow day! Zoomies, nose dives, and all. Others would rather curl up under a blanket and wait this whole thing out. Honestly? We support both vibes.

As winter weather sticks around, a quick reminder for our Farmville families:

❄️ Keep outdoor time short during cold snaps
❄️ Wipe paws after snowy or icy walks to remove salt and ice melt
❄️ Watch closely for seniors, small pets, and short-haired breeds who feel the cold faster
❄️ Skip long outdoor play when temperatures drop, indoor breaks are best
❄️ Remember, if it's too cold for you then it's too cold for our pets.

Heads-up, Farmville friends! ❄️

We’re in for several very cold days with chances of wintry weather this week. Highs will stay in the 30s–40s, with nighttime lows near or below freezing. The National Weather Service is also monitoring potential winter weather later this weekend, with snow and blustery conditions possible.

🚨 Cold Weather Reminder:
Outdoor time should be kept short and supervised during cold snaps. If it’s cold for you, it’s cold for your pets too, especially cats, small dogs, seniors, and short-haired breeds.

Before starting your car, tap the hood or make a little noise. Cats and other animals may seek warmth near engines, and this gives them time to move away safely.

Cold days are also the perfect time to focus on winter pet safety and fun indoor enrichment for your furry family ❄️🐶🐱

👉 Outdoor Cold-Weather Care:
Shorten outdoor time, watch for shivering or lifted paws, use coats or booties when needed, wipe paws after walks, and keep cats indoors during cold snaps.

👉 Busy Minds, Happy Dogs:
Puzzle toys, treat games, learning new tricks, rotating toys, scent games, calm indoor play, and long-lasting chews.

👉 Cozy Cat Activities:
Wand toys and play hunts, climbing spaces and tunnels, rotating toys, short daily play sessions, and warm window perches.

Stay safe, stay warm, and keep those tails wagging, even when you’re indoors! ❤️

Once upon a first kitten visit… and a brand new year! 🐈‍⬛

A new year brings fresh starts, new routines, and for some families, their very first visit with a brand-new kitten. This is Peanut, wrapped in a cozy blanket, soaking in cuddles, and beginning their veterinary journey in the gentlest way possible.
