Meet Madison Martinez, CSW, a passionate clinician dedicated to helping children and families grow and thrive.💙

Madison works with children ages 5-13 and specializes in ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Anger, ODD, depression, and behavioral/emotional dysregulation. She enjoys using Play Therapy, Bibliotherapy, and Expressive Art Therapy to create a safe and supportive space for her clients.🌻

Imagine that you’re a little alien traveler 🛸 and you get to experience what it’s like to be human for the first time. As you’re traveling through this strange and exciting new world, you suddenly can’t think straight, your heart starts to race, and you can’t help but fidget and feel restless. What’s going on? What is happening? How do I get it to stop?😵‍💫

Turns out, this is just the experience of a child who doesn’t quite understand emotions yet or how to express them in effective ways! And this is why it’s so important for parents to not only help their children understand what they’re feeling and learn coping skills, but it’s also equally as important for us to understand what we’re feeling too and model healthy expression!💙🌻
