Today we got creative and made our very own turkeys! Our residents had a wonderful time crafting and sharing smiles with the amazing young people from Senior Smiles. Moments like these warm the heart and brighten everyone’s day. ❤️☺️

Today’s piano recital by our musical guests, along with a heartwarming performance by our very own Autumn Joy Band, did more than entertain — it enriched our seniors’ wellbeing.
Music sparks memories, lifts spirits, reduces stress, and strengthens emotional connections.
Seeing our residents relax, smile, and come alive with the rhythm is a beautiful reminder of how powerfully music supports mental health and happiness. 🎶💛

Jared Fogerty from Shalom Hospice gave our residents an absolutely amazing 🌍🎥 audiovisual adventure!

🌾 Some rode on a haystack through open fields

✈️ Another brave pair took a virtual flight and went skydiving out of an airplane!

🚜 Everyone enjoyed a cheerful hayride—though the video didn’t quite reveal where in the country they were 😂

🪂 And several even went skydiving in Brazil… at least according to Jared’s “very clear” explanation!

Thank you, Jared, for the laughs and the journey. Our residents had a blast—and so did I!!! 🤩💛🙌

Today, volunteers Richard and Jan Greene led an amazing apple project. It was super fun, meaningful, and all our residents had a wonderful time and felt loved!
Thank you both so much for spending your time with us today and bringing such joy to our community. Your apple project was creative, meaningful, and filled the room with laughter and connection.

Our residents had a wonderful time and truly felt cared for. We are deeply grateful for your kindness, energy, and the love you bring to every visit.

A lot of good times are happening in our Autumn Care Karns community! We’ve been treated to wonderful music performances, and a couple of our ladies even got pulled up to join in the singing. Add in our cozy get-togethers and the always-charming General Store, and it’s been nothing but smiles all around.
