Precision Comfort Heating & Cooling refilled our pantry today!! Some may say it’s because the owner is trying to stay in my good graces 😜, but in reality he’s always helping anyone he can.
My heart is beyond grateful, as this will be LIFE CHANGING for many of the families that visit our clinic. No act of kindness or generosity is wasted. This hopefully will ease some of the burden a few of our clients are currently experiencing. Again, if you’re able to help, I’m happy to pick up any donation ❤️

With the current loss of SNAP benefits happening, we are doing our best to continue to provide emergency support to clients/families as needed. Our rule has been and continues to be 'take whatever you need, leave/drop what you can' ...no rules or expectations. SO...I humbly ask, if you have extra and would like to donate, we would welcome your support! I am happy to pick up whenever/wherever needed 😁🤍

I was going to post something heartwarming and cheesy about Monday being a fresh start…but then I saw this and liked it better 😂💜 Yes, Mondays are a lovely chance to start a new week with a new perspective and our mindset around that makes a HUGE difference….as does being realistic with explanations of ourselves. SO enjoy your coffee, try not to freak out and don’t stab anyone. That seems doable, right?! One step at a time!

I'm a firm believer in following whatever it is we feel called to do...I've felt that way about social work my entire adult life.
A few recent conversations (1. with my own therapist talking about how often our personal struggles are the things that we can use to make us more empathetic, open and able to support clients....and then 2. a conversation with a client about never becoming stagnant and continuing to grow in our personal and professional lives) initiated this internal push to expand a bit professionally and offer something I see as a need and opportunity.
As soon as I mentioned it to Brianna Luther she was equally excited and on board.
Together we came up with what you see...a weekly group for women, with women....to grow in skills and support and connection and all the things!

Books I’m loving right now! Of course, there’s a bit of Frieda McFadden thrown in here too 🤣 Does anyone else like to read multiple books at the same time?! When I’m reading educational/self-help type stuff, I like to break it up sometimes so it doesn’t get to be too much. If you’re looking for a decrease in alcohol use, I have found Sober Curious SOOOO good!
