• We tend to extend so much more grace to others than we do to ourselves. Remember you are just as important and your feelings are equally valid as those around you that you give grace to so feely!

Hi there! I'm Renee...I'm so happy you've found my page. I've been a social worker for 18 years and truly believe it's what I'm meant to do. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life and circumstance. I'm trained in cognitive behavioral therapy and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) and believe in a client-centered, strengths based approach to therapy.
I fully believe the benefits of therapy can be found for anyone willing to give it a try. Sometimes just someone to listen...without judgement or biases...helps more than you would think. From struggle with stress and coping to recovering from trauma, I'm here for all of it! If you're interested, I'd love to tell you more!

Just a reminder...if you aren't knee deep in New Year's resolutions and goals...and you're still recovering from the holidays and election and sunset at 5pm and life in general - THAT'S OK! There's no timeline for when and how goals happen. Take time to rest, recover and reset...don't let social media fool you into believing everyone is on the same path or expected to progress at the same rate 💛

ONE DAY…I hope to have a clinic and envision a practice that meets the needs of individuals and family units in a way that I feel could make the most difference. BUT FOR NOW…getting to share space with another social worker that I respect and adore has made private practice so much sweeter 💜 Here’s a few before and afters of our shared space and just bc we’re cute 😂…still the same building for me, just a slightly up-graded 🙂
