We’re thrilled to introduce this month’s Resident Spotlight: Maryann, a beloved member of the Ciel of Fayetteville community for the past 3.5 years!

Maryann and her husband have shared a beautiful journey together. They’ve been married for an incredible 64 years, raised their son Bruce, and built a life full of love and purpose.

Maryann spent 32 years teaching elementary school, pouring her heart into shaping young minds. She says she loved every minute of it. ❤️

Originally from Magazine, Arkansas, Maryann has always had a passion for gardening, traveling, and music. For 42 years, she faithfully played piano for her church, blessing many with her talent and dedication.

When asked for a piece of advice she’d like to share, Maryann offered these heartfelt words: "Stay close to the Lord."

Thank you, Maryann, for being such a kind and inspiring presence in our community. We’re lucky to have you! 💐

Mental health is an important part of aging well. A recent bipartisan bill aims to improve access to mental health care for older adults—particularly in rural and underserved areas—by expanding support through Medicare.
