I had one last night and it felt so familiar that now I’m thinking I dream this more often than I even realize. **shake it off** what a feeling! 1/2… as of today, I have lost what I weigh. 190 lbs lost. 189.8 lbs on the scale. It’s really hard to wrap my brain abound losing a whole “ me.”

I may only be half of me, but I am so glad I had this surgery… with my whole heart ♥️ 😂

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!

As we finish the Thanksgiving 2022 festivities, I’m excited to not be “starting a new diet” or trying to convince myself “I’ll make better decisions Monday” which ALWAYS turned into “better decisions after Christmas” which eventually lead to the new “start” sometime after Super Bowl Sunday.

This year I was able to enjoy the time spent with family and didn’t wake up feeling like trash and riddled with guilt about what I’d eaten.

Here’s a few pics from Thanksgiving 2020, Thanksgiving 2021 (3 days post ) and Thanksgiving 2022.

I’m wearing one of my favorite shoes this Thanksgiving; the Jordan 1 Retro High OG Marina Blue.

The best advice I can give someone that has just had weightloss surgery or is contemplating it: Lean in especially in the first 12 months. Don’t cheat, your only cheating yourself in the end. Put in the hard work, work on creating new habits that will support your future self. No one is going to do this for you, so rise to the occasion and show yourself that YOU are worth it. You’re worth every bite of health that you put in your mouth, you’re worth every rep you make at the gym, every mile you walk-run-cycle. DO IT FOR YOU. most of all, once you create those new habits, keep them. Stay consistent. This is your second chance at life my friend.

✨TWO✨ years ago today I made the best decision of my life! I decided to have WLS and become the best version of myself. I’m still working on myself everyday…but it’s a heck of a lot easier 100+ pounds lighter. Although it was one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made, I would do it a million times over! The only regret I have is not doing it sooner! I’m proud of myself and it took me a really long time to be able to say that! ❤️
