Christiane C. Long, LCSW

Christiane C. Long, LCSW At times we need an outside perspective, and maybe just someone to listen to us. I believe in holding healthy space for those in need of healing.

In order to tailor treatment to each client's needs, I tend to pull from various tenets and modalities of evidence-based therapies. I focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and understand the mind-body connection; I am also trained in EMDR for trauma treatment. In therapy, I take a non-judgmental and accepting stance in order to work with a diverse population. LGBTQIA Ally and Welcoming, Sex-Positive, Polyamorous and non-monogamy affirming, Kink-allied and aware, and supporter of diversity, equality, and equity.

So proud of this team, and this social work community we have here in Arkansas.

So proud to be part of this group.

The past few days have felt heavy for so many of us in the mental health field. As clinicians in Arkansas, we already work within a system stretched thin by workforce shortages, geographic barriers, and limited funding. And now, with the sudden termination of hundreds of federal addiction and mental...
