Christiane C. Long, LCSW

Christiane C. Long, LCSW At times we need an outside perspective, and maybe just someone to listen to us. I believe in holding healthy space for those in need of healing.

In order to tailor treatment to each client's needs, I tend to pull from various tenets and modalities of evidence-based therapies. I focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and understand the mind-body connection; I am also trained in EMDR for trauma treatment. In therapy, I take a non-judgmental and accepting stance in order to work with a diverse population. LGBTQIA Ally and Welcoming, Sex-Positive, Polyamorous and non-monogamy affirming, Kink-allied and aware, and supporter of diversity, equality, and equity.

This weekend!! Sale! Sale! Sale! (Address on flyer) Come snag some nice stuff that is either impractical for many we serve or overflowing in our warehouse. All proceeds will go to the bathrooms buildout and sprinkler system! See y’all soon for the next *excesses and impracticalities* sale at the new building. Renovations start a week from today. Here’s your chance to see it before we go wild with demolition and renovations!

For clarification: This is NOT a move of our warehouse. Please do not drop donations at the new building. We sort through everything at our HQ (4500 W 61st) first so that we can ensure we have the best supplies for outreach as a priority. Here are our donation drop off partners’ and their location info for your convenience: https://itsthevan.org/pages/drop-off-locations

(We should have some very definitive numbers of how this is shaking out for you very soon.)
