The Fall of Man, or Fall of Enki?

"You must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for on the day you eat from it, you will certainly die.”

In Genesis, Eve takes the fruit and shares it with Adam. The Lord declares that humanity has become like the gods, understanding good and evil, a moment known as the Fall of Man.

But this story didn’t begin in Eden. In Sumerian myth, a similar series of events occurrs. Inanna visits Eridu, the world’s first city, often believed to be the origin of Eden. She deceptively attains the MEs from Enki, the Lord of the Earth. The MEs were ancient tablets containing knowledge of truth(Good), deceit(Evil), wisdom, law, and other copper age concepts withheld by the Elite of Eridu. When Inanna took them, Enki's monopoly on power was over.

The “Fruit of Knowledge” was never just a fruit. It was social and political power, stolen by a woman, then given to the first men.
