Another happy nose , another happy patient. After an accident she had some trouble breathing and noticed her nose was off to the right . She was also bothered by the size of the tip of her nose and how much her columella ( or undersurface of her nose) would show so we got to fixing that as well.
2 months post up - super excited about her results and breathing so much better !!! 👃

Here is a 3 month follow-up after reconstruction of a lower lip defect which was created by Mohs surgery to remove a skin cancer. We employed the V-Y flap technique. Think about how much you use your lips everyday and the importance of not only the aesthetics but also the function. As facial plastics surgeons we pay close attention to both those aspects. Thank you to our happy patient for allowing us to share!

We took a little summer break with our posts, but we are back with another happy Rhinoplasty patient! Crooked noses are some of the most challenging nasal cases. We performed asymmetric nasal osteotomies and middle vault cartilage grafting. She is thrilled with her new form and function! Thanks for allowing us to share.

There is a reason why we call it Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Aesthetic/plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery are like two sides of the same coin. One always involves the other and practicing both is an art. This patient had mohs surgery with our dermatology colleagues and reconstruction of their nose with us after. Look how well his large bilobed local flap healed.
