๐ŸŒŸ Meet Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation Board Vice President, Paige Ross ๐ŸŒŸ

Paige has been an avid supporter of Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation for over a decade, first volunteering on the Gala committee. For the past 7 years, she has served on the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation Board of Directors and was recently nominated to serve as Vice President. She started volunteering with the Foundation because she wanted to directly contribute to improving patient care and was able to see the tangible benefits the Foundation offers to the hospital and our patients. She was also first really moved by the work done in the Cancer Center, as cancer has directly affected her friends and family.

Paige has been a part of many signature events, building openings and new projects, but when asked to recall her favorite Foundation memories, Paige recounted the Grand Opening Gala in the Center for Medical Education & Neuroscience Institute and the opening of Valley Hospice House. She is most excited about Cape Fear Valley Healthโ€™s growth and extended medical services and said, โ€œthe medical school is an unbelievable accomplishment for Cumberland County and will impact our community in so many positive ways. I live and work in Cumberland County and I want the best medical care we can have for everyone.โ€

Outside of the Foundation, Paige can be found working with her father, husband and brother at their family-owned insurance brokerage, Olde Fayetteville Insurance and Financial Services, Inc.. She is responsible for many different aspects of the business, but primarily focuses on business operations.

Thank you, Paige, for making such a strong impact on the Foundation and in our community. We know we can always count on you for your support, feedback and guidance!

Great news for Harnett County!

Great news for Harnett County!

We are months away from the opening of the Adolescent Behavioral Health Center on the campus of Central Harnett Hospital! This building will provide 16 inpatient beds that are designed specifically to help psychiatric patients ages 12 to 17 and their families. Harnett Health Foundation is proud to support this much needed project and is grateful for those who also recognize the importance of this initiative.

A special thank you to Dr. P.K. Vyas for making a transformational gift to aid in these efforts. Dr. Vyas said, "Over my more than 35 year career, I have seen many teen and young adults suffer from severe mental illness, many of which have lost their life. The problem has severely escalated over recent years and the ability to provide residential treatment and early intervention has been extremely limited. I am happy that I can partner with the Harnett Health Foundation in helping the youth of our community have access to the type of care that will make a tremendous impact on their life."
