🌟 Junior Volunteer Spotlight 🌟 Each summer, Cape Fear Valley Health hosts a Junior Volunteer program to give local students a chance to give back to local patients, learn soft skills, and a chance to develop a variety of skills that will benefit them both personally and professionally.

One of our junior volunteers designed and built this beautiful Messages of Gratitude board at the Valley Hospice House.

Francisca Mas, a student of Terry Sanford High School thoughtfully gathered thank-you cards and memorials from families we’ve served and turned them into a moving tribute — reminding our team members of the power of compassion and connection. Francisca's kindness and creativity inspire us all.

Every message here is a winged whisper of thanks.

We love seeing the NICU photo shoots! Having a little one in the hospital is hard enough but especially hard on holidays. We hope this (little) photo shoot was able to bring a smile to their loved ones faces by capturing the milestone of celebrating their FIRST Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Our Foundation team was honored to host Fayetteville native, Julian Hill, as he spent the day visiting the children at Cape Fear Valley Health. Mr. Hill is a tight end for the Miami Dolphins and has a very inspirational story of his childhood and journey to the NFL. Along side of his closest friends and family, the day was full of positive motivation, play, singing, tears and so much more. While being a patient as a child or adolescent can be scary and often times, lonely, Mr. Hill was able to meet these children right where they were at in their healing journey, bringing out the best side of them in such a short time. We are very thankful for his philanthropic support to our Pediatrics department and for taking the time to shine light into our youth, staff and families! Fins Up! 🐬🧡🏈
