The Breast Center strives to be an important resource for breast health in Northwest Arkansas, as well as the best source of breast cancer screening and diagnostic services. The Breast Center is Accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. We recommend annual screening mammograms for women starting at age 40 and as long as you are healthy. For women who may be at an increased risk of developing breast cancer or anyone who wants to learn more about their personal risk, we offer risk assessment appointments with a specially trained nurse to develop a personalized care plan. At the Breast Center, we provide supportive, expert care for both women and men coping with breast cancer, as well as for women proactively concentrating on breast health as part of their overall wellness. We provide 3D mammography at five convenient locations in Northwest Arkansas, and all of the radiologists are fellowship-trained in breast imaging. Established in 2003, The Breast Center provides the latest proven technology for screening and diagnostics and the highest standard of breast care. With locations in Fayetteville, Springdale, Bentonville, Bella Vista, and Harrison, The Breast Center offers convenient breast health services for all of Northwest Arkansas.

This February, during , we’re sharing important facts about breast health disparities in the U.S.

Breast cancer can affect people of all genders, ages, and backgrounds. While Black women are diagnosed with breast cancer at lower rates, they continue to face a significantly higher risk of dying from the disease compared to White women. Historically, Black women have experienced barriers within healthcare systems, including limited access to timely screening, diagnosis, and treatment. These long-standing inequities still affect outcomes today.

At The Breast Center, we’re committed to helping change this through education, early detection, and compassionate, high-quality breast imaging care. By raising awareness about breast screening disparities, we can work toward a future where everyone has the opportunity for better outcomes.

Providing clearer, more detailed images, 3D mammography helps our expert radiologists detect breast cancer more accurately. This is especially helpful in women with dense breast tissue. Improving cancer detection, it identifies 41% more invasive cancers, reduces false positives by up to 40%, and requires no additional compression.
