Hey there folks! We wanted to make a public service announcement about some new and exciting changes at Dancingbird.
As many of you know, we've opened a shop at the Northwest Arkansas Mall in Fayetteville and have moved into an inline store between Zales Jewelers and Hot Topic. It's been a journey of excitement, hope, and joy, as well as frustration, anxiety, and despair, along with a sprinkle of near insanity, and lots and lots of work but here we are. ;-)
In an effort to match our official name for identifying and branding purposes and also to better reflect the kind of store it will be, I've changed the name of the page. The name of the business has been Dancingbird Gallery for some time. The sign on the shop, which is being made by our dear friends at Helios Graphics in Eureka Springs Arkansas, will be Dancingbird Gallery and Gifts.
Don't worry, glassworks will still be our mainstay in the form of blown, fused, slumped, and stained glass and we'll be able to expand our candle business. However, we'll also be opening up our inventory to other kinds of art work and various buy-sell merchandise making us a gallery and gift store. We will also be offering MASSAGE THERAPY by Elena Kirillova who is a Licensed Massage Therapist.
A big shout-out thank you to all of our customers over the years who have made this evolution possible, to the mall management and staff, our merchandise vendors, and to our friends for your support, encouragement, understanding, and help.
Growth is often painful and this is no different. We're going to struggle for some time to fill the store with much needed exciting and beautiful inventory. Much of it will be made by our hands or the hands of a few friends of ours. Some of it will be buy-sell, such as books, t-shirts, tapestries, gemstones, and jewelry. Keep checking in with us online and shop frequently with us in the mall! We don't have an online shopping option yet but once the dust settles we may look into creating that kind of selling platform.
Many of you have expressed interest in GLASSBLOWING LESSONS and with this new move it will allow me to build a classroom environment in my old studio space not far from the mall. Again, it all takes time and MONEY, so that is a ways off yet. Maybe this fall? Stay tuned!
Please share this post and all of our posts from this page far and wide to all your friends and even your enemies! Maybe even invite them to like the page? And thank you again for your interest and support!
Love and Peace,
Brian Ernest Brown & Elena Kirillova
