Stop "should-ing" yourself into health. 🚫
As we celebrate women this month, let's talk about the weight of that word: SHOULD.
Women carry enough—we don't need to carry guilt about our health choices too.
That heavy feeling when you say, "I should work out" or "I should eat better"? That's not motivation—that's the voice of every expectation ever placed on you. And it doesn't work. Real, sustainable health comes from desire, not duty.
Try this shift:
❌ "I should exercise" ✅ "I get to move this amazing body"
❌ "I should eat healthier" ✅ "I want to fuel the woman I'm becoming"
❌ "I should look different" ✅ "I choose to honor where I am right now"
In functional medicine, we dig deep to understand YOUR unique body, YOUR values, and YOUR goals—not what someone else says you "should" do.
Value your YES. Know your NO. Do what brings you joy.
Because you—exactly as you are—deserve health that feels like freedom, not another to-do list.
