black history is not separate from healthcare. it is healthcare. 🤎
in 1954, dr. walton russ became the first licensed african american chiropractor in arkansas, breaking barriers in a profession where representation was nearly nonexistent.
because of pioneers like him, doors opened.
because of pioneers like him, communities were served.
because of pioneers like him, essence exists today.
representation in healthcare builds trust.
trust saves lives.
and legacy lives in the work we continue to do every single day.
honoring the shoulders we stand on this month and always.
