Stress not only impacts individual health but also costs Americans over $300 billion annually. It contributes significantly to various health issues, including headaches, high blood pressure, asthma, arthritis, depression, diabetes, digestion issues, anxiety, heart problems, and skin conditions.

Some believe that stress is their secret weapon, but body chemistry says otherwise. The reality is that stress makes you slow, sick, and stupid. Stress is a hormonal response meant to keep you alive when faced with a threat—your body’s natural reaction to a demand. However, our bodies aren’t designed to face threats every single day, multiple times a day. We cannot discuss health and wellness without addressing stress management, stress relief, stress prevention, and stress recovery. Stress might help you survive, but it keeps you from thriving.
