For over two decades, our medical practice has provided local healthcare for women of all ages in the Southern Crescent; including Clayton, Fayette, Henry, Coweta and Spalding counties. Nancy is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has a passion for women’s health. She enjoys providing obstetrical and gynecological care for women of all ages.

Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Nancy spent 9 years as a labor and delivery nurse where she gained extensive experience caring for pregnant women and their families. Her goal is to make sure patients feel seen, heard, and cared for with the utmost respect and dignity.

Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2017 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2023. Her initial nursing degree was accomplished in 2014 from Trinitas School of Nursing in New Jersey. Her entire nursing career has been focused on Women’s health.

She has been on the team since 2010, specializing in the complete obstetric care of low- and high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive surgeries, menopause, and infertility. Dr. Shepard has a clear passion for educating the women in her community about their health and treating them in a holistic, personalized manner. 🩷

We’re excited to share that Southern Crescent Women’s Healthcare has officially transitioned to Epic, our new electronic health record (EHR) system, as of August 1, 2025. This upgrade allows us to better serve you and offer improved access to your health information through the MyChart patient portal.

🩺 What You Need to Know:

-Records prior to August 1, 2025 remain secure. To request them, please call our Medical Records Department at 770-991-2200.

-Our previous patient portal is no longer accessible.

-MyChart is now our official patient portal. If you already have a MyChart account, your upcoming appointments will be visible. If not, our staff is happy to send you a registration link.

We will continue to share updates here and on our website to keep you informed throughout this transition.
