I had a terrible migraine today, but I’m so thankful for my amazing village who stepped up to ensure our Youth Leaders Council had a successful County Government Day at the courthouse!

Huge thanks to Java Road Espresso Bar & Cafe for delivering their new artisan pizzas for the students to taste-test during lunch—I hear they were a big hit!

Shoutout to Pythian Parlour for helping with lunch and taking care of the group back at the office.

And a special thanks to our board members, Jacob Painter and Adam Rutledge, for guiding the students through each courthouse department, teaching them how Lincoln County operates smoothly every day.

The migraine meds weren’t touching my headache, but after a quick adjustment at Tri-State Clinic of Chiropractic, I was back on the mend quickly!
