WelcomeHealth: Northwest Arkansas' Free Health Center

WelcomeHealth: Northwest Arkansas' Free Health Center Northwest Arkansas' premier free health center! We are here for the uninsured, underinsured and the Our name changed to WelcomeHealth in 2015.

When we first opened the doors of the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center in 1986 in South Fayetteville, it was for one purpose: to welcome all residents of Northwest Arkansas with consistent, quality healthcare. We were determined to make certain that there were no barriers, financial or otherwise, to that welcome. We moved to our current facility on Woolsey Avenue to accommodate the need for more services and space. We are excited about these changes and how they have improved our patients’ experience, but our mission remains the same. All are welcome here, all are treated with respect and dignity and all receive the best care available. We are here for the uninsured, underinsured and the insured. You can rest assured that we will welcome you regardless of your ability to pay or insurance status. All must meet our income guidelines (cannot make more than 200% above federal poverty level), and that criteria can be determined by a quick call to our helpful front desk staff.

Our Story

When we first opened the doors of the Northwest Arkansas Free Health Center in 1986 in South Fayetteville, it was for one purpose: to welcome all low-income residents of Northwest Arkansas with consistent, quality health care. We were determined to make certain that there were no barriers, financial or otherwise, to that welcome. Our name changed to WelcomeHealth in 2015. We moved to a newly rennovated facility on Woolsey Avenue with twice as many exam rooms, as well as a community room. We are excited about these changes and how they have improved our patients’ experience, but our mission remains the same. All who qualify are welcome here, all are treated with respect and dignity and all receive the best healthcare available. We are here for the uninsured, underinsured and the insured alike. You can rest assured that we will welcome you regardless of your ability to pay!
