We love celebrating the small acts that make a big difference! 💙These two gentlemen consistently go above and beyond by helping our custodian keep the center running smoothly. From taking out the trash to pitching in with daily chores, their willingness to lend a hand shows true teamwork and respect for everyone who keeps our space welcoming. Meet Apryl Thomas! She has worked in the social work capacity since 2017. She began her career in child welfare, advocating for the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families. As a QP with Kaleo, April most enjoys supporting individuals with IDD by providing advocacy, guidance, and resources to help improve their quality of life. One of the most meaningful experiences in her career was helping connect a one-year-old child with complex medical needs, once classified as "failure to thrive", with a loving family. Today that child is thriving; walking, talking, reading, writing, and enjoying life as big sister. Outside of work, April enjoys assisting with her sons AAU basketball team and mentoring youth. April believes the support and encouragement young people receive today helps shape the leaders of tomorrow.

It's Employee Spirit Month, and we're celebrating the heart of our organization --- our amazing staff! 💫 All month long we'll be highlighting the people who make a difference every single day!

Vi leads our weekly American Sign Language class, giving both staff and individuals the chance to learn new communication skills. Her efforts help create a more inclusive and supportive environment, and we truly appreciate the difference she makes! 🤟💙

Meet Alvin! 🎧 Our resident DJ and everyone's favorite bingo caller. His personality lights up every room, and he brings so much energy and joy to the individuals we serve. We're so thankful to have Alvin on our team!

KK is our go-to for healthy eating and creative fun! Her latest project was to make our lockers cohesive and colorful. She always brings creativity and care to everything she does. We're grateful for all she brings to our team! 🎨

Meet Allison Bryant, who has been serving as QP with Kaleo Supports, Inc. since October 2025. Allison brings a wealth of experience from Florida, Wake County, and Vance County, North Carolina. Her passion is clear: helping children in need by strengthening and supporting healthy, happy families. Outside of work, Allison enjoys traveling and cherishing time with her granddaughter. Allison is also the President & Founder of Tilted Crowns, Incorporated, an organization devoted to inspiring women to inspire girls. Her dedication to service and leadership has earned her honors such as Mentor of the Year and recognition as co-author of the best seller The Nonprofit Legacy.
