๐Ÿ“š Evely currently serves as Chair of the Department of Applied Health Sciences and Director of the Mortuary Science Program at Wayne State University. He brings extensive academic and professional experience to the organization as a licensed funeral director and member of the Michigan Board of Examiners in Mortuary Science.

๐Ÿ‘ In addition to his leadership in funeral service education and regulation, he also serves in the United States Coast Guard and is a licensed attorney in multiple states.

๐Ÿ‘ She has served as Secretary-Treasurer and Executive Committee member for the Nova Scotia Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors for the past seven years. She also works in not-for-profit board and committee activities throughout the province and is a member of the ICFSEB Finance Committee.

๐Ÿคฉ Kortney was appointed to The Conference Board of Directors in 2024 and then elected to serve a full term in 2025. We are incredibly grateful for her strong advocacy for quality education and strong licensure standards within the funeral service profession.

๐ŸŒŸ Matalie has more than 20 years of experience as a licensed funeral director and embalmer! She currently serves as the Board Executive for the South Carolina State Board of Funeral Service.

๐Ÿ‘ In 2020, She made history by becoming the first ever woman to hold the position of Funeral Home and Cemetery Inspector in South Carolina. Upholding the integrity of the funeral service profession and National Board Exam is paramount to her service on the ICFSEB Board of Directors.
