🗣️ We encourage member boards to share this opportunity with their members and administrators who are interested in contributing to the advancement of funeral service regulation.

To be considered, nominees must:
✔️ Be a current member or administrator of a Conference member board
✔️ Have attended at least one Annual Meeting of The Conference (which can include the 2026 meeting)
✔️ Meet eligibility requirements outlined in the Conference bylaws

🧠 Each year, The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards hosts an Annual Meeting in which regulators, educators, and other funeral service professionals from the US and Canada come together to learn from experts in the regulatory community, share best practices, and collect strategies for improving regulatory systems.

✈️ The Conference's Delegate Grant program provides financial assistance to board members - covering travel and lodging expenses incurred to an accepted delegate so they may attend the meeting. There will be up to TWO grants awarded per jurisdiction throughout ICFSEB membership.

📢 The Conference is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Evely to its Board of Directors.

📚 Evely currently serves as Chair of the Department of Applied Health Sciences and Director of the Mortuary Science Program at Wayne State University. He brings extensive academic and professional experience to the organization as a licensed funeral director and member of the Michigan Board of Examiners in Mortuary Science.

👏 In addition to his leadership in funeral service education and regulation, he also serves in the United States Coast Guard and is a licensed attorney in multiple states.
