When this gland isn't functioning properly, it usually falls into one of two categories.

Think of it like a speedometer for your body:
🐢 Hypothyroidism (Underactive) — When your thyroid is "hypo," things slow down. Your body isn't producing enough hormones, which can leave you feeling sluggish, cold, or noticing changes in your weight and mood. It’s like your internal engine is idling too low.
