Weekend Recap 🧢

Our Southern Rehab PT’s & PTA’s attended the 18th Annual Emory Sports Medicine symposium! With a spotlight on Rehabilitation Focus, Research & Case Prevention, and Navigating Return to Sport; we are grateful to have received this information from the professionals in the field of Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine (some being doctors for the Atlanta Braves and Hawks)!

A few of the subtopics and discussions included:
▪️ Understanding evidence: when it’s time to move
▪️ Orthopedic issues that need attention
▪️ Youth Athlete Safety: training and injury prevention
▪️ Concussion & Neuromuscular Factors
▪️ Biomechanics
▪️ Best practices for complex problems

Giving various outlooks and research based evidence, we are excited to implement a few new techniques in our clinics.
