💙🌍 Employee Wellness & Community Support

A great way to wrap up the year by supporting our community and employee wellness. 💼💙

Lor Nutrition LLC had the opportunity to provide a nutrition presentation to the BCBS NC Neighborhood Care team in Fayetteville NC, who continuously offer valuable health and support resources for the Fayetteville community. Thank you for inviting me to speak on such an important topic focused on employee health and well-being.

We had a meaningful group discussion around practical, real-life nutrition — including energy, blood sugar balance, cholesterol, weight changes, the Balanced Plate approach, budget-friendly meals, and honoring cultural foods.

The importance of employee health was clearly reflected through their leadership and team leads, who genuinely prioritize supporting their staff.

The Beyond Blue Neighborhood Center team has an incredible support and a strong commitment to both their employees and the community they serve. If you’re in the Fayetteville, NC area, I highly recommend attending their community events and taking advantage of the resources they offer.

I’m excited to share that Lor Nutrition will be relocating to a new office space beginning of January!

This new location will allow me to continue growing, supporting clients, and creating a space that truly reflects the mission of helping you feel confident, strong, and nourished from the inside out.

I am incredibly grateful for my current space — it has allowed me to build meaningful relationships, support so many of you on your health and wellness journeys, and grow my practice in ways I never imagined.

As Lor Nutrition continues to expand, this move brings a fresh opportunity to serve you with even more intention, comfort, and connection.

✨ “Nourish Your Body, Honor Your Roots” — one step, one meal, one change at a time.

This week, Lor Nutrition LLC had the opportunity to speak with an amazing group about nutrition, culture, and small changes that make a big impact.

We talked about soul food traditions, how to keep the flavor while making healthier swaps, and how balance — not perfection — is what truly supports long-term health.

From building a balance plate, to finding ways to shop smart on a budget, it was such a meaningful reminder that healthy eating can be simple, affordable, and culturally connected.

My favorite part was reminding everyone that you’re not alone on this journey — we all start somewhere, and every small change adds up.💛

👋 Hi, I’m Anna Lor, MS, RD/LDN. I’m a Registered Dietitian in North Carolina with a Master in Nutrition, a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Coach, and a weightlifter for 7+ years.

As we head toward December, I’m celebrating a big milestone—opening my first private practice office in Fayetteville, NC—and I also offer Telehealth so you can get support from anywhere.

About Lor Nutrition LLC: We provide evidence-based nutrition and strength coaching with a Hmong culture focus. We keep your favorite foods and teach simple, sustainable changes that help blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, energy, and confidence—no strict diets. Many plans cover visits at 100%.

This year in our community (highlights):
• Hosted our first Women’s Weightlifting event (July) 🎉—lifting, learning, and fueling together
• Launched private practice services in Fayetteville + expanded Telehealth access
• Built resources tailored for Hmong families to pair tradition with metabolic health

Insurance & access
We accept health insurance, and many plans cover nutrition visits at 100% (often no copay and no out-of-pocket cost). Coverage varies by plan—we can verify your benefits. We’re authorized to see clients in California and Michigan, and we’re currently working on licensing in Minnesota.

Partnerships
I’m seeking partnerships with health professionals and community members (clinics, gyms, churches, schools, nonprofits) for workshops, classes, and referrals.

What a weekend!! 🏋️‍♀️✨

I am beyond PROUD of all the incredible women who came out this weekend to learn barbell technique and lifting fundamentals! You all did amazing. I hope each of you walked away feeling strong, empowered, and excited about what your body is capable of.

Although we were short on time and I didn’t get a chance to personally connect with everyone, the energy in the room was everything — positive, uplifting, and full of women supporting women. It truly meant so much to witness that.

A huge thank you to Crossfit Catawba Valley for providing a safe and empowering space to host this event, our sponsors for keeping us fuel and hydrated, and to my amazing volunteers who helped bring this vision to life. I couldn't have done it without you.

Seeing each of your faces on Saturday — showing up for yourselves, trying something new (like the sn**ch and clean!), and having FUN — filled my heart. This event was a milestone for the NC Hmong community, and I am honored to be part of it.

It was inspiring to meet so many new faces and connect with the Hmong health care community—. The conversations we had and the friendships we began remind us why we do this work💚.
