Si te ofende… obsérvalo📖

Si algo te ofende, no siempre es un ataque.
A veces es un espejo.

Epicteto lo dijo muy claro:
“No son las cosas las que nos perturban, sino el juicio que hacemos de ellas.”

Cuando una verdad te incomoda, no es porque sea cruel,
sino porque tocó una fibra que aún no has trabajado.
Pero atención:
no todo lo que molesta es verdad,
ni toda crítica merece alojamiento en tu mente.

El sabio no reacciona, examina.
Si lo que escucha es cierto, corrige sin orgullo.
Si es falso, suéltalo sin rencor.
Porque una mente entrenada no se defiende…
se gobierna.

Y recuerda:
si te ofende porque es verdad, trabaja en ello.
Si no lo es, no permitas que lo ajeno dirija tu paz.

Una Jaula sigue siendo una jaula, aunque sea de oro✨
A menudo romantizamos la idea de estar "totalmente cuidados" - sin facturas, sin trabajo, solo en casa
Nos enseñaron a llamar “privilegio” a el no preocuparnos por dinero, a quedarnos en casa mientras alguien más resuelve todo Pero cuando no tienes ingresos propios, ni carrera, ni red, basta una discusión, un cambio de humor o una decisión ajena para que todo se tambalee

La dependencia no es seguridad
Es silencio forzado
Es aguantar por miedo
Es no poder irte, aunque tu alma ya se haya ido

El verdadero poder no está en que te mantengan sino en saber que te quedas porque quieres, no porque no tienes otra opción
La libertad empieza cuando puedes sostenerte a ti misma

¿Qué piensas tú?
¿La dependencia financiera protege… o encierra?

Yeah,
Sometimes I’m a complete disaster, but that’s one of my best qualities.
I may show up with messy hair, messy clothes and a mess in my arms, but I’ll always show up.
I’m not going to say it’s easy always taking the long way through my days or that I don’t get frustrated..
But when the dust clears and you need someone to stand beside you, you can always count on me.
I may not be the picture of perfect, but that’s just my signature style and I own it.
After all, wouldn’t you rather have one messy person that loves you rather than ten fake people who vanish when the going gets tough.
I can’t promise I’ll always have the answers to help you through or know what to do next, but I’ll always be there for you, no matter how hard life gets.
I used to tell myself that this was the week I was going to get organized and get it all together, but something else always seemed to get in the way..
And I realized, I don’t have to be the model person to be amazing in all the ways that matter:
Great friend, loving parent, good person.
I’m going to keep showing up, standing up and speaking up for the things and people that matter.
I know now that I only get one shot at this thing called life, so I’m making the most of my days, living in my moments and appreciating the love and beauty all around me.
Maybe I’ll always fumble, bumble and stumble through life sometimes, but at least I’ll always be true to myself, always show up and most of all,
I’ll always be there for the people I love…starting with myself.
So, yeah, I’m messy most of the time,
But I’m a beautiful soul with a big heart.
Just the way I always wanted to be.
Doesn’t get much better than that.
