The bill did not pass but my hope is that the more people learn about the cost to our health and mental health that comes with daylight savings time, it will happen in the future.

At the 2024 Menopause Society meeting in Chicago, it was emphasized that for women in menopause with sleep disturbance, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia or CBT-I, is the most effective therapy, even during menopause when sleep is disrupted due to hot flashes. CBT even outperformed estrogen (although in the study presented, the estrogen was a lower dose, 0.5 mg oral estradiol). ISI in the graph below is the Insomnia Severity Index. A drop in ISI score corresponds to improved insomnia.
