RESPECT (Rape Education Services by Peers Encouraging Conscious Thought) is an award-winning peer education program of the Campus Sexual and Relationship Violence Center at the University of Arkansas. RESPECT addresses sexual and relationship violence through varied peer education presentations, programs, and outreach with emphasis on prevention, risk reduction, cultural change, and creating trauma-informed communities of care.

Our Story

RESPECT (R**e Education Services by Peers Encouraging Conscious Thought) is a multi award-winning peer education program under the Campus Sexual and Relationship Violence Center of the University of Arkansas Pat Walker Health Center's Wellness and Health Promotion Department. RESPECT is dedicated to ending sexual violence through awareness, education, and cultural change. Education programs and outreach focus on changing r**e culture and prevention through shifting attitudes and beliefs while encouraging bystander intervention across the spectrum of sexual violence.
