RESPECT (Rape Education Services by Peers Encouraging Conscious Thought) is an award-winning peer education program of the Campus Sexual and Relationship Violence Center at the University of Arkansas. RESPECT addresses sexual and relationship violence through varied peer education presentations, programs, and outreach with emphasis on prevention, risk reduction, cultural change, and creating trauma-informed communities of care.

This coming Tuesday on 11/5 come by the SRVC to hang out and paint with therapy dogs! We will have mini canvases for students to paint whatever they like, or use the stencils that will be available!

At the SRVC, we offer no-cost counseling services to victims and survivors of sexual and/or relationship violence.

Our counseling services are provided by a licensed counselor who is specially trained in working with individuals who have experienced trauma.

Why musical chairs at an event that addresses sexual and relationship violence?

It is not uncommon for victims/survivors to feel as if they are going around and around when dealing with systems that exist to help but often get bogged down.

DO YOU LIKE MUSIC AND FAST PACED WALKING AROUND A CIRCLE OF CHAIRS?! Well then this event is for you 🤭

Next week at Creep it Real: Consent is No Trick you can play musical chairs and have a chance at becoming the campus crown champion!

From 12-1 we will begin the first of ten rounds for musical chairs, and the winner of each round gets a free “musical chairs champion” shirt! Then, after all rounds are complete there will be a final round between all of the winners. From there we will have our campus musical chairs champion crown winner!

Join the Campus Collaborative for our Halloween event on October 28th from 11-2 at the Union Mall for Creep it Real: Consent is No Trick!

Engage with campus departments and peers in dialogue and activities that centers around important topics such as consent, communication, boundaries, The Red Zone, r**e culture, and more.

Every hour there is a different game!! For musical chairs there will be a winner after each round and then a final round between all of the winners! From there we will crown the campus musical chairs champion of 2024!👑🪑🎶
