Phi Mu at the University of Arkansas

The Alpha Beta chapter at the University of Arkansas was established in 1923 and recolonized in 2012.

We are one of the 12 thriving SEC chapters across the nation! Phi Mu is a women's organization that promotes personal and academic development, service to others, commitment to excellence and lifelong friendship through a shared tradition. Phi Mu promotes vibrant living encouraging members to achieve their personal best. Phi Mu is a well established national organization with a rich history. Phi Mu has 114 collegiate chapters and more than 150 alumnae chapters across the country. Our national philanthropy is Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The money that our chapters raise for CMN Hospitals stays local to benefit the children in each community. The Alpha Beta Chapter at Arkansas will support the Arkansas Children's Hospital. In addition to supporting CMN Hospitals, Alpha Beta will engage in community service projects, support local philanthropies and participate in the philanthropy projects of other Greek organizations at Arkansas. Phi Mu's member experience is based on the three guiding principles of our creed, love, honor and truth. Phi Mu also provides four values for our membership: Character Building, Leadership Development, Community Service and Sisterhood.

There’s something truly special about the friendships here in Phi Mu! It’s more than just a sisterhood, it’s the people who turn your college years into memories you’ll never forget. The ones who bring you a coffee when you’re having a rough day, who study with you until midnight, and who go with you to every function, football game, and event. These are the girls who become your bridesmaids, and lifelong friends! We’re so proud of the love, and support in our sisterhood, and we cannot wait to show you just how amazing it really is!

💌”Hi everyone! My name is Taylor Petersen and I am so thankful to be serving as the Recruitment Director for Phi Mu Alpha Beta! I am from Nacogdoches, TX and majoring in Accounting. I recently served as the recruitment assistant which lead me to want to serve as the director on exec! As the Recruitment Director, it is my responsibility to plan and execute the direction of recruitment for our chapter. My favorite part of this position is having the opportunity to shape the future of Alpha Beta by welcoming new members and playing a role in their recruitment journey. Living in 792 W Maple St is not something you want to miss out on!! Our house holds 85 members in all 2-girl rooms! Not to mention Chef Carrie’s cooking for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!

Anyone who’s lived in house will tell you it is an experience like no other! Imagine a slumber party with all of your closest friends for 2 semesters…the absolute dream!!🤩🤩

💌“Hi, everyone! My name is Avery Davis, and I currently serve as Alpha Beta’s Honor Chairwoman! I am from Harrison, AR and am majoring in Biomedical Engineering. Since my freshman year, I have served on our chapter’s honor committee, and I am so beyond elated to get to head this wonderful committee this year! As Honor Chairwoman, I help ensure that all chapter members are held accountable according to our values and standards, while providing a support system for their academic, financial, and personal needs. I work closely with our President, Treasurer, and Academic Chairwoman to ensure everyone’s success!
