Still feeling so grateful and fired up after an incredible weekend at the Rice Business Plan Competition — the Super Bowl of entrepreneurship!

We had the chance to pitch, learn, get feedback from some of the best in the industry, and connect with so many inspiring founders and investors. It’s wild to think about how far we’ve come — and exciting to think about what’s next as we keep working to change the game in preclinical drug development.

Biggest thanks to our advisors David Hinton and Phil Shellhamer for always believing in us and pushing us to be our best. And to the University of Arkansas Office of Entrepreneurship & Innovation for supporting us every step of the way.

Thank you to the entire RBPC team and all the judges for creating such an unforgettable experience. Definitely a weekend we won’t forget!

Wrapped up Day 2 at the Rice Business Plan Competition!

Today was a good day — full of great conversations, new connections, and a whole lot of learning. We’re excited (and grateful!) to get the chance to pitch again tomorrow in the Wildcard Round.

Appreciative of the Rice Alliance for this incredible experience and looking forward to one more day of sharing Humimic Biosystem’s vision with investors, judges, and peers from around the world.

Wrapped up Day 1 at the Rice Business Plan Competition!

Humimic Biosystems is honored to be competing as one of 42 semifinalists — selected from over 550 applicants from around the world.

Today was packed with practice rounds, elevator pitches, and the Startup Showcase. It’s been incredible connecting with other founders, investors, and innovators in this space. Grateful for the feedback, connections, and energy so far.

What. A. Weekend.

The Heartland Challenge has officially wrapped up, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful. Out of 100+ applications, we were honored to compete as one of the 12 semifinalist teams—alongside some of the most competitive and high-caliber startups we’ve ever met.

Even better?
We brought home 4th place overall and won Best Startup Expo Booth!

More than anything, we learned so much, made meaningful connections, and came away more energized than ever about what’s ahead for Humimic Biosystem.

Huge thanks to the Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for hosting such a phenomenal event. The level of thought, care, and community put into this competition truly made it special.

Today was incredible at Heartland Challenge, we advanced through the semifinal rounds, delivered our elevator pitch, and received some truly valuable feedback. We’re thrilled to be heading to the FINALS!

The final round is open to the public tomorrow come out, support us, and check out our expo booth to learn more about how we’re innovating in the biosystems space.
