🌺 WHAT A NIGHT! 🌺

Our luau was absolutely AMAZING! 🏝️✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable island celebration!

🍹 Our Tiki Bar was a Hit: The tropical drinks were flowing all evening from our amazing tiki bar setup - everyone was in the perfect island mood!

🌴 Island Transformation: Our space looked like a tropical paradise with tiki torches, leis, palm fronds, and beautiful flowers everywhere!

💃 The Hula Dancers Stole the Show: The authentic Hawaiian performances were great!

Everyone looked fantastic in their Hawaiian shirts, leis and grass skirts! The island vibes were absolutely perfect! 🌺🥥

Already missing those tropical vibes... until next time! Mahalo to all who made it special! 🤙

In today’s adventures with Robert and Julia, they took the Carolina Inn residents on a trip to Hawaii through their books. Robert read ‘Good Morning Hawaii’ and Julia read ‘Hawaiian Mermaid Lu’au’ in honor of our National Assisted Living Week Celebration! Everyone enjoyed listening to the stories and passing the books around to enjoy looking at the pictures. They even brought flowers for the residents. Thank you, Robert & Julia!

Our furry friends from the Bright & Beautiful Pet Therapy Dogs & their owners came decked out in their favorite Hawaiian Luau attire in honor of our National Assisted Living Week celebration! They all looked fantastic with their beautiful Leis, Hawaiian Bandanas, and Hawaiian shirts to go along with our theme! Carolina Inn residents loved seeing them and gave them extra cuddles due to how cute they looked!

On this Patriot Day, we pause to honor the memory of those we lost on September 11, 2001.
We remember the innocent lives taken, the heroes who sacrificed everything to help others, and a nation that came together in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

Their legacy reminds us of the strength we find in each other and the enduring spirit that defines us as Americans. Today and always, we remember.

Carolina Inn residents enjoyed making Leis during our National Assisted Living Week Arts & Crafts! They did a fantastic job stringing each flower until they had a beautiful Lei to wear to our Luau on Friday!

This afternoon, Carolina Inn residents got in the spirit of National Assisted Living Week and our Hawaiian Luau Theme when we played Tropical Games! Our residents had a blast doing the Limbo, playing Tiki Toss, and Coconut Bowling! Everyone showed their athleticism!
