Gold Ratio
The golden ratio, also known as the divine ratio, is a fascinating mathematical relationship that has captivated mathematicians, artists, and scientists for centuries. This ratio, represented by the Greek letter iyor (phi) and equal to about 1,618, is seen in many natural structures and works of art and symbolizes harmony and beauty.
The golden ratio is defined as the division of a truth into two parts; where the relationship between the total length and the longest section is the same as the relationship between the longest and shortest section. This formula is found in nature, architecture and art, and makes us think that there is an internal connection between mathematics and aesthetics.— in England, UK.
Leonardo da Vinci: In the famous "Man of Vitruvius", Leonardo applied the golden ratio to show the ideal proportions of the human body.
Golden ratio was used in the creation of masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa and in the design of the Fibonacci series.
This ratio is not only found in physical objects, but also in phenomena such as sound waves and spiral galaxies
