Today, we remember.

September 11th will forever be a day etched into our hearts. A day of loss, of bravery, of unity. We honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the heroes who rushed toward danger, and the families who continue to carry the weight of that morning.

In the face of unimaginable tragedy, we saw courage. We saw resilience. We saw a nation come together.

May we never forget the lives taken, the sacrifices made, and the strength that rose from the ashes.

Exercise: Daily exercise helps to reduce your body's physical reaction to stress by reducing tension and anxiety.

Sleep: Getting 7-8 hours of sleep a night can help you feel refreshed and energized.

Eating well: Good nutrition is necessary to perform at our best!

Connection: Social connections can be a source of validation and support.

Relaxation: Making time to relax is important for recovery and wellness. Reading your favorite book, going on a walk or listening to your favorite song.

For World Down Syndrome Day 2024, we are calling for people to end the stereotypes. Stereotypes for people with Down Syndrome and intellectual disabilities include, but are not limited to, being treated like children, underestimated, and excluded.

Believe it or not, socks get people talking! On this day we ask you to choose some socks that are going to be noticed! The concept is when people ask you about your socks you can tell them that you are wearing them to raise awareness of Down Syndrome.
