~New Growth~

We have had this particular plant here at The Fern for years. It really hasn't grown much. We've changed the pots, soil, location and pretty much nothing has happened. Today some new growth was spotted. Hooray for new growth! May you continue to grow into your best self!

~ Rose Hips~

Tell me all of the creations you would like to see of the rose hips I harvested this Fall.
This was something that actually made me jump for joy when I saw them in the wild. The process of harvesting and then de-stemming them has been very rewarding for me, and the right thing for me to be doing. I am looking forward to using the these beauties upcoming products.

~Lady Fern~

The ferns absolutely love it here. They have all started off outside at some point to decorate the entryway. They get moved in when the weather gets cold. Then they just live in either the south or west facing windows but have been thriving for years. Anytime I have taken them home, they dont seem to be as happy....so I trudge them back to The Fern where they like it more.
My mother used to keep and take care of many of the huge ones my whole childhood. She was amazing at at it. I have had to learn and grow as a steward for ferns. It hasnt been super easy.
I am grateful for the ferns. Their thriving makes me happy and proud.

~Lemongrass~

Oh the sweet smell of lemongrass. I absolutely love this plant! Today was the day for harvesting one plant for drying. This lemongrass will go in herbal teas and concoctions. So excited to be harvesting and making with the herbs and plants from our land. Happy making everyone!

~Peppermint Harvest~

We have had a great crop this summer! This is just one handful!!

If you are looking for fresh peppermint, peppermint starters, potted peppermint, or dried pepermint, just let us know. We have them all!

This spring and summer (so far) has been an interesting one. We have been doing some massage and also lots of gardening and foraging, learning about medicinal herbs. It is so rewarding. Feeling grateful to be getting hands in the dirt and feeling grounded during all that is happening in the world.
