💔 3 E.E. Smith Students Pass Away, 1 Injured in Rosehill Rd Crash in Fayetteville NC 🙏
🗒️ On October 8, 2025, at approximately 7:22 PM, Fayetteville Police responded to a fatal crash in the 2700 block of Rosehill Road, between Country Club Drive and Ramsey Street.
🚔 Officers and EMS arrived to find a single vehicle with four occupants that had run off the roadway into a wooded area and struck a utility pole.
💔 Three young lives were tragically lost at the scene, all of them E.E. Smith High School student-athletes. A fourth occupant was airlifted to UNC Chapel Hill in critical condition.
🚧 Rosehill Road was closed to traffic as emergency crews and investigators worked through the night. The Fayetteville Police Department’s Traffic Unit continues to investigate.
🎓 This morning, E.E. Smith High School addressed students with the heartbreaking news. Cumberland County Schools released a statement:
“Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, loved ones and the entire E.E. Smith Golden Bulls community during this difficult time. The top priority of the E.E. Smith High School administration is to provide support to students, faculty and staff as they process this tragedy. The district’s Student Services team will be on-site today to offer counseling and emotional support. Out of respect for the families of those impacted and the school community, many of whom are still receiving this news, we are not releasing additional details at this time. This morning, there are no interview opportunities with the school administration as their focus remains on supporting students and staff.”
💐 WatchOut sends our deepest condolences to the families, classmates, and the Golden Bulls community. May the community surround them with love, strength, and comfort as they grieve these unimaginable losses.
🙏 Prayers Up
