Three Trees Yoga

Three Trees Yoga Rooted in community and healing since 2005. Three Trees Yoga has a class for everyone. We specialize in meeting the student where they are at.

If you need stress relief, or longer hamstrings or stronger bones--or all of the above, we can find a class for you. We have beginners classes as well as the "Intro to Yoga" series for an in depth study of the poses if you are brand new to yoga. All of our teachers are required to be RYT certified and can make adjustments for previous injuries or medical conditions. We offer a clean, relaxing, tranquil space to support you in your journey to find balance between body, mind and spirit. We run a 200-hour Yoga Alliance accredited yoga school, with a focus on philosophy, chakra theory, Ayurveda, asana, pranayama, body positive yoga and mindfulness. We have a wide range of classes and teachers and workshop offerings. We are continuously updating our knowledge as a studio and as teachers. We teach traditional hatha yoga with a mindfulness focus and a deep rooted love and appreciation for this sacred practice.

Yoga isn’t just about what happens on the mat; it’s about the people who hold the space with kindness, consistency, and heart. Karen does this beautifully, and we’re so grateful for everything she’s shared and continues to cultivate in our community.

Join Karen Schwisow on Tuesdays at 10:45 am for Mindful Yoga.

"As an original co-founder of Three Trees Yoga & Healing Arts Center, I have been sharing the transformative practices of yoga and mindfulness since 2005. For over a decade, I have also trained aspiring teachers, helping them bring embodied presence, equanimity, and compassion into their own communities.

With a mindfulness practice rooted in the early 1990s, yoga became a transformative addition to my practice a decade later. My classes are a pause button for the chaos of daily life—inviting you to reconnect with your breath, your body, and the present moment. Known for my warmth, humor, and ability to make ancient wisdom feel relatable, I create a space where curiosity replaces judgment, and mindfulness becomes a tool for everyday living.

My teaching is informed by rich training experiences, including the Pacific Yoga Teacher Training, Therapeutic Yoga training through Subtle Yoga, and certification in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) through the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School. My passion lies in blending time-honored traditions with practical tools to meet the demands of modern life."

Community isn’t built by everyone moving at the same pace. It’s built when people show up with different rhythms and choose to stay connected anyway.

Some Fridays we arrive full and open, ready to give. Other Fridays we arrive quiet, carrying more than we planned. In this space, both are enough.

Thank you for showing up in your own way. It matters more than you know!

Join us this evening at 6:00pm with Gina for Restorative Yoga.

✨ Our New Moon arrives today in Capricorn as the sky opens into stillness. With the Moon absent, Jupiter and Saturn shine more clearly, reminding us that clarity often comes when we pause and listen. This moon invites intentions rooted in patience, devotion, and trust in the slow, sacred work unfolding over time.

Don't forget to look up tonight! 🌚

🌲 In a forest, not every tree stands tall all the time. Some lean. Some shed leaves. Some rest beneath the canopy of others. Still, they all belong. 🌲🌲

Our yoga practice is like that. Some days we feel strong and steady, and other days tender and tired. We arrive just as we are, and together we create a space where nothing needs to be fixed.

This Forest Friday, remember that your presence matters, exactly as you are. Every shared breath, every moment on the mat, adds to the roots and canopy that hold our community together.

We’re grateful to practice alongside you.

✨Wishing everyone a beautiful and fulfilling 2026✨

✨The 1:1:1 portal opens in the first days of January.✨

This is a powerful period of alignment when intention, thought, and creation meet as one. We are invited to speak gently but clearly about what we are calling in for this year. Release the past, trust the signs that appear, and move with quiet confidence. Even the smallest actions are amplified between 1.1.2026 and 1.11.2026. What you claim during this opening begins unfolding with grace.✨
