Fiber!!!

Did you know that appropriate fiber intake has previously been linked to improved cognitive outcomes, as well as decreased cardiovascular risks? And now it has been shown to reduce depression ðŸ˜ē The recommended amount of fiber per day is 25-38 grams. I know that is a big range, but fiber should be increased slowly, and as much as possible should come from whole food and vegetable sources 😉ðŸ‘Đ‍⚕ïļ

Did you know that there is currently a lawsuit regarding the birth control Depo Provera. The lawsuits notes a direct link between women who have been on Depo and the development of meningiomas ðŸ˜ē😎
I'm not saying all birth control is bad, and not every woman who uses Depo will get a brain tumor, but do your research! These are potential side effects that are not often discussed. And in my experience, most women don't even understand how birth control works in the body!

Calcium supplements- yay or nay???

Nay! Instead, take vitamin D3 and vitamin K2. The D3 will help your body absorb calcium that you intake in your diet or other supplements (such as a multivitamin) and the K2 will help so that calcium does not build up in your vascular system (blood vessels).
Most people don't know that one way to assess cardiac risk (heart risk) is to measure your calcium score or calcium build up in blood vessels!

Did you know that walking, or even being active, after you eat (within 15 minutes of eating) can lower blood sugar, improve digestion and improve metabolism.

Did you know that reducing your salt intake to much can actually cause insulin resistance ðŸ˜ĩ
Have you been told to reduce salt intake in regards to blood pressure and this doesn't improve your numbers??? That is because insulin resistance causes elevated blood pressure!
With that said, eating conventional iodized table salt is NOT what I am recommending!
But, do your research, and intake quality salt to keep your body functioning how it was meant too! ðŸ‘Đ‍⚕ïļðŸ™‚
