Congratulations to Brandon, our August 2025 Employee of the Month! “Brandon is a great employee and a pleasure to work with. He works very hard and is here for our residents. It has been great to watch him grow personally and professionally. He is reliable and willing to help out extra when needed. We are happy to introduce you to Dove Healthcare’s new Vice President of Operations, Jennifer Burklund!

A 2010 graduate of the health care administration program at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Jennifer comes to us with over 15 years of long-term care experience. She has spent the majority of her career in Wisconsin nursing homes in a variety of roles; most recently, regional operations support.

Jennifer shared, “I am privileged to lead the team at Dove Healthcare. My priority is to ensure those we serve receive the highest standard of care, and our team feels valued, supported and is set up for success."

Jennifer grew up in New Auburn and lives in Bloomer with her daughter and son. She enjoys spending time with her family, staying active outdoors, travelling with her significant other, Matt, and relaxing on the lake.

Please help us thank MarySarah, memory care recreation assistant, for going Above & Beyond! David shared, "MarySarah checked in on my father-in-law, Robert, to generally see how he was adjusting to life a few days after his arrival. We chatted about several things. What goes where. Conveniences. Supplies. Clothes. Etcetera. Good ideas! And after about 10 minutes, MarySarah mentioned a few suggestions for rearranging furniture to streamline access and improve safety. MarySarah took time and made the effort to switch around just about everything. Better view of the outdoors. More space for walker and wheelchair. Better seating and comfort for visitors. Safer maneuverability as staff assists my father-in-law. Wonderful results! And excellent example of how everyone here is always helpful and friendly. Many, many thanks to Dove Healthcare."

Emily is responsible for overall performance and operations, which includes supervising the assisted living directors and assisted living nurse consultants. Our assisted living locations will benefit greatly from an enhanced, collaborative focus on developing goals, implementing strategy, identifying efficiencies, and leveraging resources
