🏈🎤 Today was a TOUCHDOWN kind of day at StoryPoint! Our staff showed off their team spirit by dressing in their favorite sports gear — GO TEAM! 🙌

We also took a fun trip to Aldi for some shopping adventures, and for Taste Test Tuesday we enjoyed pumpkin loaves that were absolutely delicious! 🎃🍞

Then came the highlight of the day — entertainment from “Elvis” himself (just kidding 😉) — the incredibly talented Bryan Dixon! He truly shook the building with his performance and had everyone singing along! 🎶

To make it even better, our Life Enrichment Director Heather and our Chef George danced to “Fools Rush In” — and had everyone laughing and cheering! 💃🕺❤️

What a fun-filled day from start to finish!

🎃👻 Halloween Fun at StoryPoint! 👻🎃

Our residents and staff had an absolutely spooky good time today celebrating Halloween with their families! We enjoyed a frightfully delicious spread featuring Mummy-wrapped hot dogs, Puking pumpkin veggie tray, Witches Brooms, Eyeball salami and mozzarella balls, Ghostly strawberries, Halloween-themed chocolate-covered pretzels, Graveyard pudding cups, and the FAMOUS Spicers Apple cider to drink!

Afterward, everyone headed back to their apartments so the little ones could go trick-or-treating door to door — and our residents absolutely loved handing out candy and seeing all the costumes! Some even snuck a few pieces of candy while waiting for the kids to arrive. 😄

🎃✨ This week has been full of fall fun! Yesterday, Our residents spent the afternoon pumpkin painting with THE MEDICAL TEAM — and the creativity was off the charts! Afterwards, we enjoyed Spicer’s Apple Orchard’s delicious donuts and cider 🍩🍎 — the perfect fall treat!

Then today, we kept the fun going with Happy Hour entertainment from the Dibbleville Dolls, and they were fantastic! 💃🪗 Our residents were smiling, singing along, and having the best time!

This week has been full of FUN at StoryPoint Fenton!

Yesterday our residents enjoyed a delicious lunch outing to Sagebrush and let’s just say it was a hit! One resident ordered a burrito and had no idea what he was getting himself into — it was bigger than his stomach! 🌯😄

Then today we kept the good times rolling with Happy Hour entertainment by the talented Tom Smela! 🎶 Residents had a blast joining in — playing the tuba, piano, and the guitar! One resident even got up and started to dance!

Smiles, laughter, and music all around!!!

🎀💗 Today was all about kicking off Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the best way possible — with a PINK PARTY! 💗🎀

Our amazing staff showed their support by wearing pink, and our residents joined right in — our entire community was glowing in PINK!

We celebrated with a smorgasbord of delicious charcuterie, fresh fruit, sweet treats, and refreshing drinks — all in shades of pink. 💕

Together, we stand strong, and together we fight. Please join us in spreading awareness this month and honoring those touched by breast cancer. 💪🎗️

Our Memory Care residents got into the spooky spirit yesterday by painting festive Halloween ceramics thanks to Fire Up Ceramics!

The creativity was flowing, and the smiles were just as bright as the pumpkins they painted. 🎃

Of course, NO Pre- Halloween fun is complete without a sweet treat — pumpkin cookies with cream cheese frosting were the perfect way to celebrate the season!

What a week it has been here at StoryPoint!

Our master gardener got our raised bed gardens cleaned out — with the best supervisor on this side of the Mississippi keeping a close eye on things! 👀🌱

On Tuesday, we took a fun trip to Target 🛒, and yesterday we had the incredible Marsha Mumm perform for us 🎶✨.

Today was extra special — we visited Adopt A Pet of Fenton, Michigan 🐾 where a sweet golden doodle loved our residents so much she didn’t want to leave! 🐶

After that, we brought in ceramics from Fire Up Ceramics and painted our own Fall/Halloween masterpieces 🎨🍂🎃.

And a HUGE shoutout to a local Eileen, who noticed Heather left a ceramic behind at the shop and was kind enough to bring it in to us — talk about community love! 💕

So much joy, creativity, and laughter all week long! 💛

🍩🍎 Yesterday was such a SWEET day at StoryPoint! Our residents were treated to fresh donuts and cider from Spicer’s Apple Orchard, and let’s just say… they couldn’t get enough! The smiles, the laughter, and the stories shared over those warm donuts and crisp cider made it a memory to treasure. 💛

🎶🍷 Then today, we kept the good times rolling with Happy Hour! Our residents enjoyed great drinks, great company, and LIVE entertainment from the incredibly talented Tom Smela. His music filled the room and had everyone tapping their feet, clapping along, and even singing too! 🎤✨

From delicious treats to unforgettable tunes, our community is always finding ways to celebrate the little (and big) moments together. 🌟

🍂✨ What a week it’s been here at StoryPoint (and it’s only Wednesday!) ✨🍂

🌸 Monday – Our monthly pop-up flower shop was in full bloom, and it was a HUGE hit as always! Residents loved creating their own beautiful bouquets. (Thank you to our friend Cindy at VG's Grocery)

🛍️ Tuesday – We enjoyed some retail therapy at Community Threads! Clothes and Christmas finds were fun, but the highlight was a resident gifting our Life Enrichment Director, Heather a “best friends” pin set. She put it on immediately and hasn’t taken it off since 💕.

🌭 Today – Dane fired up the grill for us to enjoy a Koegels hotdog bar, and our residents reminded us that nothing beats a Koegels!
🍦 Meanwhile, our Memory Care residents took a sweet trip to Uncle Rays Dairyland for some of the best ice cream in Michigan.

And the fun isn’t stopping there—tomorrow Heather is bringing in Spicer’s donuts and cider to keep the fall flavors rolling! 🍩🍎🍂

The last few days have been nothing short of wonderful here at StoryPoint! 🍂

Yesterday, our memory care residents enjoyed a sweet Ice Cream Social with banana splits (a big hit!) 🍌🍨.

Today, we got crafty with hand-painted pumpkin décor 🎨🎃 and then we headed over to Uncle Ray’s Ice Cream for some sweet, ice-cold treats! Finally we wrapped up the fun with BINGO featuring festive fall prizes! 🍁✨

I guess you could say… we’re officially ready for ALL things fall! 🍂🍁🎃
